Dr Donna is the QUEEN of Acupuncture!!!!! I went to podiatrist who said that I have plantar fasciitis, my pain got so severe I could not stand for more than a few moments, and walking caused excruciating pain. I remember my first appointment in her office I was in tears and pure agony; we set up a treatment plan and within weeks the pain was gone, not only can I stand but I am now walking about 3.5 miles every day. She has not healed my pain but gave me my life back. I am eternally grateful for Dr Donna and the staff they are simply the best!!

Someone recommended me to try acupuncture for my knee pain and plantar fasciitis and I searched one in my area. Luckily I found Dr. Donna Colaco. She listens to your problems. She is very professional and knowledgeable of her field. I feel with a few more visits, I can definitely be back to my normal daily routine. In addition, the office is very nice, clean, and the assistants ore very cordial and professional. I will recommend anyone who needs help to go to this office for a treatment.

Within 2 months… Dr Donna’s treatment plan has almost completely reversed the long-term effects that I have had from viral infections (including 3 rounds of COVID) over the past 5 years. I have had significant relief of brain fog, chronic fatigue, and chronic daily pains. Not to mention a significant improvement in shoulder tendinitis which I initially started seeing her for since I had given up on finding a cure for the damage caused by the viruses. I sleep better…. Six weeks ago I hobbled into Potomac Acupuncture and Wellness with desperation. I had been living with great pain in both knees for several months. I had recently seen an orthopedic surgeon who gave me a mild pain medication, told me to take Tylenol and said to check back in a month. The next day I made an Appointment to see Dr. Donna as a last resort to alleviate the pain. After meeting with Dr. Donna for about 10 or 15 minutes, she offered to start treatment immediately. There was slight improvement after the first two treatments, and by the third and fourth treatment I was walking with very little pain. I’m only about half way through my treatment plan, but Dr. Donna has given me my life back. I cancelled my follow-up with the surgeon, and I continue my treatments with Dr. Donna for continued pain relief. I can’t thank them enough!

It has been a miracle

I’m awaiting a hip replacement after my daughters wedding and decided to try acupuncture in the meantime to assist with the pain and my mobility – I didn’t want to walk down the aisle like Quasimodo, dragging my leg as I went. I’ve been amazed with the results, after the 1st week of treatments. I can walk without pain, I have energy again, and feel like I’ve gotten my life back. For the past 3 months, did a lot of sitting, and watching life go by because of the effort it took to move around – the pain consumed my every waking moment when walking. I feel like me again, and am so very thankful i decided to give acupuncture a try. I now look forward to not just walking down the aisle, but dancing as well. I can’t explain how this has worked- I only know it has been a miracle for me.

When I first started coming to see the doctor I was in terrible shape; I was on the backend of chemotherapy, had lost a tremendous amount of weight, couldn’t hold any food down. I was extremely weak.
